General tips on getting a passive guy to accept you in his life.? Well, this question is basically just for my own research. I'm seeing my ex boyfriend who I broke up with 3 years ago due to the long-distance. Now I'm having my degree in his country--Singapore, that is. Why am I so passive at work? Little background about me: I was born in a Latin American country, growing up I was very extroverted, people used to say that I acted very mature for my age, and that I had excellent communications skills. I felt that I was always the leader of my crew (friends), and friends would always come to me for mentoring. Then I came to states when I was 9, my family were immigrants so we were living in a low income neighborhood. And so I kept my guard up through out my secondary school, I was always surrounded by rough crowds-- basically it was pretty hard growing up in this environment of constantly defending oneself. And so the once extroverted girl, became really reserved. I started shying away from people, and even now it still affects me. I graduated from college just recently, and because of the economy I haven't been able to land my dream job, so I'm still working at the place that I've been working since my junior year in college, which has been the bank. My interaction with my co-workers is not very balanced, I tend to treat my peers as if they are doing me a favor of just letting me be there. I talk very passive to them, talk very low, I don't know what's wrong with me. I feel so insecure and I don't know how to stop this. I can never go passed the superficial conversations you get stuck with when you run into someone in the hallway. I never have anything else to say but neutral things. I tend to ask more questions about them, then actually talk. When I do talk, I'm constantly hearing myself speak and then I get distracted and I lose my thought. blogging for money, how much do you guys make and am i doing okay? i started blogging for money i.e adsense and affiliate commision in september. i have got about 6 blog sites bringing in a tiny amount of cash per month 1 is a bigish one aimed for pure affiliate commision the others are smaller more adsensed based. the first month september i made, 2 cents, the next month after and when i done the other couple i made more than a dollar in adsense the next month i made $25 commison and some more adsense than the last time, the next month i made $35 comission and a bit more adsense than last time by now i had all my blog sites up nd running.last month i didnt make any commission but still about the same amount of adsense as last time. I want to own apartment complexes lets say 20 unit apartment building to start what do I have to do? I have some basic work experince but a wealth of knowledge. How do you make money through Amway? OK so I went to this business meeting yesterday about Amway and they told me that it's not an illegal pyramid scheme and that I'd be able to make passive recurring income (basically money without labour). I'd have to recruit people into my "team", and the more people i have under me the more I'll earn. Unconciously teeth clenching guy that won't get help I'm dating is cramping my style? I'm striving for the best advice that I can get here.. I have been dating a guy who I starting sleeping with, but he clenches his teeth unconsciously when he sleeps. It is annoying, and I'm losing sleep. Ever since back in April-May 2009 he complained that his dentist drilled too deep and it hit a nerve.
