When to send press release? [How many days ahead]? I have a small Internet business and have done a few press releases in the past, but nothing serious. In the past I have sent them out last minute with the generic header of "For Immediate Release" I'm getting ready to release a new product and want to do it the right way this time. So, are you supposed to send them out a day ahead and put "immediate release", or is it actually preferred to send them ahead of time and put something like "release on June 29, 2007" to give them some planning time? I can see the advantage of sending them early [not sure how early?]. But I would also assume that if sent early that they may be forgotten about by the time the date actually comes along. Married less than a year and finding risky business on the internet!!? This seems long, but please read it all to fully understand the situation I need advice on.. I am asking this advice for my best friend, because I honestly don't know what to tell her... and I need someone's insight, maybe from someone who's been married for a while. (I'm so young, only 25) My friend and her husband got married in July of 2008. She was scheduled to deploy to the middle east in September of 08 and she is still overseas. However, a week before she left she came across the fact that her husband had a my space account that she wasn't aware of it was very inconspicuous, and he was listed as "single." Obviously after seeing this she did some snooping, and she came across that he had written several random girls in the local area with the same message copied and pasted over and over saying something along the lines of, "you are beautiful, I would like to get to know you better, I just moved to the area." Well in the end, she confronted him, he started crying and he apologized and she ended up forgiving him and she went on her deployment. Well NOW she has ran across another set of emails between him and his ex girlfriend of a number of years, and has said things to her like, "I think about you a lot, I miss you, I would love to hear your voice, please call." She is still in Iraq, but she returns in 2 weeks. She doesn't want to talk to her family about this, so I am the only one she will come to. They have an almost 11 month old son together. Also the entire time she was dating him (2 years) she was the "other" woman, and he had a serious girlfriend. What kind of insight can you give me to give to her?? In my mind, I'm thinking the marriage will never last... but I can't bring myself to tell her that, and I don't know if I should. I feel like I'm way over my head with this... I'm not a fan of her playing the role of the "other woman," but in her defense... he manipulated her into thinking his relationship with his girl back home was over, when it really wasn't. He played with her mind a lot.

I was just speaking with one of my contacts there who apparently has "fell in love" with someone on here, funnily enough they've never met the person they've "fell in love" with and from what they've told me already they seem to "fall in love" with every person that takes an interest in them!
